​The author, Leslie Schuette, is a singer, songwriter, musician who is married and lives with her husband Joe of thirty-three years in a small rural town in Illinois.  She has been blessed with two sons and two grandchildren.  Leslie is a Medical Laboratory Technician by profession.  Her deep love for music has inspired her to write many songs, and now children's books.  Leslie also possesses a great love for nature and animals that reflect in her writing.
